I trained in London, Manchester & Auckland. I was appointed as an NHS Consultant at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in 2002. I am the Clinical Lead for Oculoplastic Surgery, which focuses on ​problems relating to the eyelids, eyebrows, tear ducts ​& orbit (eye socket). I specialise in eyelid surgery including cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), ptosis surgery (for droopy upper eyelids), ectropion repair, entropion correction and eyelid cancer surgery. I also offer scarless (endoscopic) tear duct / watery eye surgery (DCR). I take a keen interest in the teaching and training of surgeons. I have jointly run an internationally renowned fellowship in oculoplastic surgery since 2002 and have trained surgeons from around the world as well as the U.K. I am the Director of the Manchester Oculoplastic, Lacrimal & Orbital Dissection Course which attracts oculoplastic surgeons from around the world. I am a founder member of the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS) and Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
